  • God, AF still hasn't come! Hate the fact that my cycle is so outta sync! On like day 39 now.. Hoping it will come back soon as its freaking me out!

Defo not pregnant either with BFN... Hmmmmm....

I'm very moody though, hope this is a sign of AF making an appearance sometime soon!!

  • Tatabubbly you're not alone, I'm currently on cd34, when my prev 2 cycles were 25/26 days!

I have no idea what's going on! FF revised my ov date 3 times, so I've stopped doing tests as I've no real clue as to how many dpo I am! Recent FF put me back to 10dpo for the third time, so I'm going with that now as its a good a guess as any :rotfl:

I have decided that if still no AF by thurs I'm gonna test. So fingers crossed :o

Hope every one else is doing ok x
  • Evening ladies :)

Bfn for me this morning, on an IC, at what fertility friend says is 12dpo so assuming I'm out this month. AF due at some point this week. Nothing different about this month either symptom wise. Sides of my boobs are sore and some mild intermittent cramps, all normal for me unfortunately. Looks like cycle 12 of TTC is imminent

So I got my drugs today for IVF start in January.. Its weird that looking at those drugs could/maybe/maybe not/possibly make me a baby!!!! Im taking gonal f pen which I actually thought looked scarier then i thought it would be! hubby is fine he says giving them to me… Im trying to make him come to acupuncture with me just for a little payback!! haha.. wishing everyone good luck
  • Hi Ladies, thanks for the lists kellykins.

Quick update from me.. I have no idea whether i've ovulated again, I have decided the symptoms I had last month were probably PMS, which I've never suffered from in my life before - so if nothing else this TTC lark, is teaching me something about my body i've taken for granted for the last 37 years!

So, I guess I should be in the 2ww, we'll see - much calmer this month and playing it by ear. Early days in our journey, so i'll start to panic in a few months time, and enjoy the babymaking process in the meantime.

Hugs to everyone that needs one and of course sticky babydust to all xx

  • Hey guys...I know these questions have been asked before but am just looking for some reassurance!! Used an opk today for the first time...haven't told oh, not sure he needs to know as don't want to add pressure! He has agreed to dtd every other day and a couple of days in a row around ovulation...only difference is he thinks it is totally guess work when ovulation is whereas I'm hoping I'll be more aware with the use of opks!! Just wondering what time of day people do them and how long is a good idea to avoid liquid for prior to ensure an accurate result?? I sip water and drink tea/coffee all day so it is really gonna take a lot of forward planning for me to not drink liquid!!

No you don't need to avoid liquids at all, just avoid downing litres right before!

I test in the afternoon/evening which seems to give me more of a result than first thing in the morning. I think a few of the other ladies on here are the same but it all depends on how long you have the hormone surge.

It can be a bit difficult to withhold going to the toilet between lunch time and when I get home from work - usually I'm legging it through the front door and straight for the loo :rotfl:

Thanks cath_ster. It was negative yesterday as it probably should have been...but just want to try and ensure that its not negative cos I'm dipping it into a concoction of water and tea!!
