    Congratulations MrsSippi :j:j:j

Hope you feel better soon lulu92 :)

Welcome to all the newcomers. Here's hoping your stay here is short!

I'm coming to the conclusion that all men are the same about TTC. They make out they are sex crazed, yet when it comes down to that critical time they have lots of excuses why they can't DTD!! I'm trying the relaxed approach this so I'm just going to try and seduce OH around the 'right' time.....I'm sure he will see through it though!! Lol :)

    Anybody due to test soon?

    Hi All,

I'm new to the tread - been lurking a while, a bit nervous to post in case anyone rumbles me in real life! Anyhow, details as follows...

    VickyV (34) TTC#3 since 6/14. CD22, 4dpo

    Think that's everything!

Doubt I'll have caught this month as DH had 'performance issues' (i.e. managed the act but couldn't get to the final scene, so to speak) on the two most fertile days. :-( TMI? This has never happened before, has anyone on here had the same thing while TTC. It's my first month temping and using OPKs so that may have something to do with it!

Yes!! My oh gets nervous if he knows it's an important day. I've stopped telling him and we've just done it every other day this month. Seems to have worked a whole lot better. In the tww now!

  • I'm quietly joining this thread as we're not TTC yet.

I already have 3 DDs (10, 8 and 5) and DH has finally agreed that we should try for No.4. I always wanted 4, he wanted 2 so we compromised on 3, but as I am now approaching 40  (I'm currently 37), I really feel that I have to at least try for one more.

Anyway, we won't be TTC until late January as I don't want another summer baby - DD2 and 3 are June/July and DD1 is October. Then DD1 and 2 will be in a show in London in September 2015 so I can't be due then, hence waiting until the end of January.

I know I might not fall pregnant quickly this time, but given our history, I don't want to risk it. DD1 was conceived 2nd month of trying, DD2 3rd month and DD3 was our one hit wonder :D.

Right, I'll be off now. Hopefully I won't get to know most of you well on here before TTC in January as you'll all get your lovely BFPs and I'll be sooooooo jealous that you've graduated :D. But in the meantime, I'll look forward to getting to know the ladies who are on here (however short a time that may be).
  • Hi I'm completely new to this, but wondering if anyone can help:

On Sunday (cd09) I got cramps/pain on my lower left side. I usually get some form of middle month pain which I put down to ovulating. Never took much notice if it before, but this month is very odd as yesterday (cd10) my right side started hurting!

So my query is can I ovulate so early in my cycle? Bearing in mind I don't actually know my cycle having been on the pill for 14yrs, and this is my first natural cycle.

And secondly, can I ovulated from both ovaries in one month- and what does this mean if I've BDing for the past 4 days?

This is complicated stuff! :rotfl: thanks

I'm a million miles away from a physician, but I've had something similar in the first part of my cycle since coming off the pill in July. I tried to do some reading and found a few (dodgy) references to follicular pain. If your ovaries aren't used to producing follicles i.e. if you've been on the pill for a while etc, apparently you can get ovarian pain as follicles start to ripen towards ovulation? I'm not sure how much I believe it to be honest, but it made me feel better than the results telling me I had cysts about to burst at any moment! OR you could be about to OV, though it does seem a little soon. I've started to make notes of things I've noticed on particular cycle days, and found it really useful to refer back to the following month :)

Googling things is sometimes not a good idea! I'm keeping a diary of observations, but only have an ear thermometer so not being taking temps....maybe will have to next month if I've still no idea what's going on! :p

Tho I think CD10/11 is early, my cycle may be all over the place, but I worked it out that the start of my last breakthrough bleed and day 1 of my first normal cycle was 25 days.....so wondering if this is my number, which would make ovulation earlier than normal......?

Did anyone else come off the pill straight into their typical/normal cycle or was it a bit erratic at first then settle down? Puzzled, but I suppose in a few months I'll spot a pattern :p
  • Fresh start - I was on the pill for over ten years and went straight back to regular cycles, so it can happen, particularly if you were regular before. I usually OV around cd15 on a 29 day cycle if that helps at all x

  • Fresh start, I came off the pill in June and my cycle is a bit mental but a friend of mine came off the pill and was back to normal in not long at all, like Shrimpy! I think it depends on the individual really.

I've no idea what's going on with my cycle at the mo, I had a regular cycle in August, ovulated on day 15 and then AF appeared 10 days into my next cycle! Now I'm on about day 18 and no sign of ovulation... Mega confused!
