Musogirl295 I did read in one of my apps (yes, I have more than one!), that you get a surge of LH about a week after AF, which then goes down, and then you get a bigger surge just before OV. This totally made sense to me the first month I used a digital OPK. I still got darkish bands on the IC about CD 7-11 which then went, but were never as dark as the control line. The digi said no surge at this time. Then about a week later (I now know I OV around CD 16, much later than I thought) I got the smiley face on the digi and a dark line on the IC. I would persevere and keep testing until you know for sure you are way past your OV timing. You never know, you might get another surge later than you think

You were right! I kept testing and finally got a positive OPK yesterday, so ovulating today! On CD18, much later than I thought. It's good as it means we've been able to get some well timed bding in but slightly disappointed as it means I've got to wait longer to test! So impatient!

So I now need to be changed to CD18 0DPO Thanks Kellykins

I'll be honest and say I've not read all 2000+ posts on here, but has anyone who is TTC tried the conception gel from Amazon?

Hand on heart I can't say if it worked for us or not - I do know after a year of trying we fell pregnant the first month we tried with this.

    Good luck everyone x

Wow the reviews are really good for this! Can I justify spending £13 on lube? I barely enjoy spending £4 on it! :rotfl:

just popping over from the other thread. I'm not sure if you're aware lulu but normal lubes can actually inhibit conception as they provide an environment that is hostile to sperm - the sperm can't reach the cervical mucous in time and die off. I've actually used this stuff myself and you hardly have to use much, so if you do need to lose lube or like to use it, it's probably worth the investment.

  • Can I guess 5 bfp for September please?

    Congrats Jedi for the bfp.

Hugs for those who need one and :naughty: for all you naughty girls who are symptom spotting!! :p

I've been the Dr for my results- PCOS is looking likely. My hormones are normal but there are cysts and my cycles are irregular, so I'm being referred, so should have an appointment in about 6 weeks.
