Thanks for asking shrimpy. Unfortunately I'm not really sure myself at the moment. I'm seeing the consultant for the first time next month and have loads of questions about things like this to ask. I have done a bit of googling and without treatment it can result in me not ovulating, as well as effecting the regularity of my cycle and how heavy my period is. Apparently it is not impossible to conceive with it (assuming you ovulate of course!) but you are also at a massively increased risk if miscarriage :( My appointment can't come soon enough! Temperatures still erratic so still not convinced I've ovulated.

Hope we both ovulate soon :o How often each day do you use the OPKs and what CD do you start? Fx for you.

I hope your consultant appointment comes around quickly and you get some positive answers. I'm terrible for googling but I always think I'd rather know than not know. I'm sure your consultant will be able to reasssure you.

I struggle to use the OPKs at all to be honest. The instructions say to use between 10am and 7pm but I am at work for all of this time and as it is a very small company, I wouldn't have any privacy to do them at work (and the thought kind of weirds me out!) I also drink lots of water and find it impossible to restrict my fluid intake, which I suspect may be why I only ever get faint lines. I get other OV signs though and am fairly regular so am not too worried about not getting on with them. Pretty sure I have OV'd now but not sure when, probably just after my day 21 bloods just to be awkward!

DH has gone to the hosp with his sperm sample today, just phoned me from the car to ask where to take it, had left the house without the letter and of course hadn't taken it with him either. I had a quick google and am now hoping work don't look into my internet history! Where is the rolly-eye smiley when you need it...

    Thanks ladies :)

This was our second month taking pregnacare vits, first month using conceive plus and also temperature charting, BD'ing either every day or every other day around ovulation. Last cycle I didn't get any +opks at all and this one was the first one I did.

Before this cycle we were just guessing really but my cycles have been fairly irregular and my last one was 60 days, so I don't know what made the difference. I know many of you do the above anyway!

Congrats to Estate Princess and Sulphate!! Wishing you both a really happy and healthy pregnancy.

Sorry I haven't posted much recently ladies. AF hit me hard this time both physically and mentally, I had to leave work as I was feeling so sick and faint. However I'm feeling much better now that she has left the building.

Had a bit of a break through with hubby the other day. He's on nights, and has been for the last 2 months. He works 12 hour shifts 5 nights a week so is always tired and we've really struggled to BD, either one finding the time or two, him being able to finish because he's knackered. Anyway he left for work the other evening and I said to him that it would be great if he came in and snuggled up to me when he got home in the morning. He immediately sighed and said "But I'll be tired", I didn't get angry or upset, I said I understood he was tired, but I would really like it if he could try. With that he left for work. About 30 mins later I got a text saying he was really sorry and he didn't mean to react like that, and that he would try to stop being such a misery and of course he would come and snuggle. True to his word he came home and we had a lovely hour in bed together *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*.

I'm glad he obviously still wants this. He was only meant to be on nights for 2 weeks which has no morphed into 2 months, so initially we didn't think this was going to be a problem. I really hope he can get back on days soon, massive kudos to you ladies out there whose OHs work nights all the time, I don't know how you do it!

Anyway in other news I'm on CD9 and expecting to OV in the next few days. Really interested to see how long my LP is this month after jumping from a 10 LP to a 14 day LP last month with using B6 and agnus castus.

Love and hugs and all that stuff to all you lovely ladies.
