Thanks everyone, thats put my mind at rest!! Although im blessed with two lovely little ones, as im 35 im just a bit more cautious and trying to be realistic as to how long this could potentially take. Im not patient either so not a good combination! Im away tomorrow, so good luck to everyone, with lots of + test results and baby dust xxx

Hello ladies,

Sorry I've not had chance to pop in properly and reply the last few days, I've had to hand in all my college work and it has just been stress, stress, stress. Fingers crossed now it is all finished though!

Mrs T_M - I'm sorry about your loss. I can't believe I spent so many years desperately trying to not get pregnant, stuffing myself full of synthetic hormones, which have probably done no end of damage, and the actual fact is that I probably never needed to and could have just not got pregnant by knowing my cycle and using condoms where necessary. I really don't think reproductive education/information is explained properly to younger people. My doctor pretty much told me that if I didn't go on the pill I WOULD get pregnant, no doubt about it! He failed to tell me my sex drive would vanish, my CM dry up and my moods go mental. After being on it 15 years and finally realising it was the culprit for the majority of my depression and intimacy issues, I will never, ever take it again. And if by some miracle I do get pregnant and am blessed with a little girl, come the time she will be given all the real information and she can make an informed decision. Sorry I went off on a bit of a rant there!

Missymoo - Yep I was the same. I had sex one month and realised I had missed one pill earlier on in the packet. I had a full on melt down and rushed to the chemist to get the morning after pill. They gladly handed it over, didn't bother to ask where I was in my cycle, how many pills I had missed etc. just handed over the drugs and took the money. Chances are it would have been something like 99% impossible for me to be pregnant.

Lottie - Massive congratulations! Hope you have a wonderful pregnancy.

AFM - I'm much more chilled now that my college work is handed in, however I'm starting to get a little stressed as I think O is due any day. Hubby and I are struggling to get BD in as he is working nights and we're only seeing each other for about 20 mins in the morning and 30 mins in the evening before he goes to work. Also I'm working at the elections tomorrow from 6:30am to 10pm so after this evening I won't see him again until friday morning. I'm hoping we can get a BD in today (CD11) and one on friday (CD13). If I O on CD12 then we will have BD O-3, O-1 & O+1. Certainly not our best efforts but it might be enough. Of course O could be a little later which would be great!!

I'm taking Agnus Castus and B6 this month as well. I'm taking 100mg of B6 a day. On my bottle of agnus castus it says "Agnus Castus 100mg, equivalent to 1000mg of Agnus Castus". Can anyone explain what this means? I'm not sure how 100 of something can be equivalent to 1000 of something, I've read the bottle but unless I'm missing something I'm not sure. I'm only taking 1 tablet a day as directed by the bottle, but just want to check I've got my dose right.

Sulphate - I carry on as normal in my 2ww. I think the stress of having to think I cant eat this or that every month would turn me insane.


Wegle - I have no idea about your angus castus, I hope someone can help. I was never any good at maths.


According to my app i'm 0dpo, so the 2ww wait begins. I'm not hopeful anyway as we are kind of going with the flow as not tracking etc.
