    Yep I agree that's probably the case, but it seems the water sensor is far too sensitive if it can be tripped by condensation.

    And what's the situation on water damage with an S5 seeing as they're supposed to be waterproof, are they covered under warranty?

    I believe they wouldn't let any condensation or moisture in it all but if charging port is left open you could have the same problem.

    Not sure if there is any standard for the tabs to hit or locations all the ones iv seen on "normal" phones with removable backs have been behind battery etc so shouldn't really be affected by moisture outside the phone as much.

    Can see both sides and it's a nightmare so many arguments over this when I worked at cpw. Some I felt genuinely sorry for others claimed phone had never been near water when there was a puddle behind the battery
