Would you reuse water you boiled eggs in?

    No. No water meter and I wouldn't begrudge the few pence to heat the extra for rice.

    Elizabeth, I'm sure theres lot of things we do in our home that others wouldn't.

    I've used egg water for washing up and other things just never for cooking.

    But like I say I have never used the egg water because of what my, grandparents said.

    This reminds me of a story The Little Waster (Bobby Thompson) told.

    He came downstairs one morning and his wife informed him he couldn't have a cup of tea as the water was off. She did manage to serve up a boiled egg, though. He never found out how she boiled the egg!
