No it means nothing.0 -
Lloyds contacted me this morning and said they don't have the authority to look at the account .Btw, does this have any value towards my situation
You are joking, are you? Why would you still believe anything they say on their website?0 -
And btw, I would continue to complain, regardless of what JJ has said.
Explain why, please. I note you've not actually responded to my post, so I presume you don't have any response to what I put?
Or is this "yeah I know it'd be pointless and the FOS would never side with you and it'd take months and months and months for a definite no, but do it anyway for fun"?urs sinserly,
~~joosy jeezus~~0 -
That's the point I'm trying to make. Banks should follow what Paypal do and offer that service of chargebacks, it makes sense. 80% of the time I use Paypal but this time I don't know why I changed my mind.
They shouldn't. Bank transfers should be cash transfers. If you make them reversible on demand then you basically remove 99% of their utility there and then.urs sinserly,

Especially pointless since innovate thinks a complaint should be directed towards LBG/Lloyds/TSB.JuicyJesus wrote: »They shouldn't. Bank transfers should be cash transfers. If you make them reversible on demand then you basically remove 99% of their utility there and then.
Yeah. We already have card payments for this purpose.0 -
@ Noh
I phoned up the Leeds location, they know of this scam website (they immediately knew it when i made up a fake story about me buying a product off their website). because others have phoned in too and reported it to the police, they have reported it themselves as well but for some reason this website is still there.0 -

You will note that I was talking about a complaint to TSB and/or Lloyds Group, which isn't the same as "Lloyds", but see above.0 -

Edited for clarity. But that's irrelevant to my point.
Neither Natwest or LBG/Lloyds/TSB are responsible for this. You know that bank transfers can't just be recalled like this.0 -

Absolutely, yes, I do. And until that Dorset woman got her £68K back the other day, I would have argued just like you and JJ did.
She did get every penny back though, and the FOS were most definitely deeply involved, regardless of the fact that the conclusion of the case was officially dressed up as "Barclays goodwill".
Anyway, I am not the OP, and I have not lost money. But if I was and had, I would report / complain as I outlined already. I am not saying it would be successful but nothing ventured nothing gained.0
