Sorry, I wasn't saying that you were saying the message was wrong, just stating that I didn't see any problems with it. :)
I guess my message / emphasis was lost in translation. Easily done ;)

    Fair enough.

I'm sorry to say this but I laughed so hard after reading your post. How do you expect buyers to contact you ??!! hahahaha seriously this was the funniest post on here. I imagine some sellers are doing a selection of messages before deciding to reply or not :

Has the buyer made any punctuation mistakes ?
Has the buyer started his sentence using a capital letter or not ?
Has the buyer made a space before the comma or not ?

    Hilarious hahahaha

Ok, now back to the topic , here is a copy paste of the last message I've sent to a seller who sold me an INAD :

"Hello There, I'm sorry to inform you that I've received yesterday the parcel but I found it not as described. The PS3 is not reading discs and keep making an ejecting noise. In addition that the grey controller is not charging whilst the another one is fine. In the listing it says clearly that it is in perfect working order while I find this incorrect.

I want to return this item ASAP and get a full refund

    Thanks"

Was my message clear or not ??

Obviously you have totally missed my point which is totally my point.

Of course we reply to each and every message we receive otherwise we wouldn't still have a business (at least not on Amazon) however my point is that sometimes messages are rather difficult to read as they are missing words, completely mis-spelt or have the incorrect punctuation and therefore may not receive the response that the buyer expected.

With regards to your situation only you know exactly why you are leaving so many negs and neutrals and opening so many cases. I am sure that you are fully aware of exactly what the issue is but you may not wish to share that with us but the fact still remains that you are aware that you seem to purchase from 'bad/poor' sellers and continue to do so in a very high amount of cases. If you do not change your behaviour, with regards to your purchases, you will receive either a restriction or a ban on eBay which will, in effect, close your own business so you need to be taking a long and hard look at the issues you are having and figure out what is causing it as eBay seem to believe (as do most people!) that there isn't that amount of bad sellers on eBay.

Flyonthewall: We have 3 employees, one who is middle aged, one in their early 20's who uses text speak all the time and a mid 20's Polish lady and I myself am only in my late 20's so I am more than able to read and use text speech and even so some messages are barely legible. The overseas buyers messages I think are down to translation as I am sure we are all aware that Google Translate and the like can quite often be 'incorrect' to a degree.

    P.S:

A good example of incorrect punctuation etc below:
    Dear John:
I want a man who knows what love is all about.
    You are generous, kind, thoughtful.
People who are not like you admit to being useless and inferior.
You have ruined me for other men.
    I yearn for you.
I have no feelings whatsoever when we’re apart.
    I can be forever happy.
Will you let me be yours?
    Gloria
    Punctuation now placed differently
    Dear John:
I want a man who knows what love is.
All about you are generous, kind, thoughtful people, who are not like you.
Admit to being useless and inferior.
    You have ruined me.
    For other men, I yearn.
For you, I have no feelings whatsoever.
When we’re apart, I can be forever happy.
    Will you let me be?
    Yours,
    Gloria

I am now, however, going to bow out of this discussion as obviously spelling, grammar and punctuation isn't the OP's issue but something quite clearly is which they aren't willing to share.
  • OK, I will now ask politely to pick a sentence in this thread where i made a mistake either on grammar or punctuation , and please prove that this mistake made a HUGE difference to the sentence.

I can't believe nobody's pointed out that there's a fairly large grammar error in the question?

This thread and the 'other' remind me of the woman who was pregnant and the Tesco man parked near her drive whilst at the same time a kind seller hand delivered her item.....

lol I thought that right at the start of this thread when it started to go rather off course.

Please lets not go back to commenting on that thread though, the thread was closed for a reason.

Closed, it should have been *de-googleable (*note - made up name), still, it was momentous.

Just read through this thread and it got me to wondering if the OP would have been so generous with their negative and neutral feedback if sellers could still leave the same in reply like it used to be
