You don't have to throw a fit, tell your life story and start psychoanalysing everyone when somebody disagrees with you on an online forum. Apparently, you just wanted people to support you and tell you all the other sellers are evil. This is not how things work in real life. People might disagree with you, so either learn to deal with it or don't ask for anyone's advice again.

Ok, so you and all the others who know everything about the OP are all right about everything all the time and we won't question any of you again.
    Happy now?
And OP doesn't seem to be 'throwing a fit' to me, she seems to be a reasonable person merely responding to a lot of sniping and, frankly, bullying, with a lot more patience and good humour than I would probably employ!

OP is responding by calling those who disagree with her idiots and parrots, so she is not exactly an angel who needs your defence. Please stop throwing the word "bullying" around every time you want to argue for no reason.

AND no, you don't understand the numbers. That's why she explained them to you again.

Yes, I admitted that - what's your problem?
    Doesn't change much!

A nasty response to a reasonable post - I think you should try a bit harder, eh?!

You clearly have a problem with logic, and I don't have the desire to repeat myself just so that I explain things to you.

My reply wasn't nasty; just realistic. How many of those of you who are defending the OP very vehemently are willing to sell to someone who gives 88 negative or neutral in every 600 feedback? You can defend her all you want, but the fact remains that most sellers would prefer not to deal with her.
  • Just asking, but, does anyone know the OP's eBay user ID yet.

It's just that I might have a use for this...

Have to say Marie you've got big problems if you found that difficult to read.....

Can't believe people on here are saying the OP's English is below par......

She has perfectly adequate writing skills and I find her posts very easy to read and understand.

    Thank you :)

The part that I quoted is more difficult to read as the punctuation is incorrect however I did not state that it was difficult to understand which is a big difference.

My point still remains that buyers frequently use poor writing skills when communicating with a seller and whilst you may feel that the OP's English writing is perfect unfortunately it isn't (although it is understandable) but we do not know how they communicate with their sellers and I find it highly unusual that so many sellers are unable to resolve any of the buyers issues and I am obviously not alone in this.

The buyers understanding and writing was mentioned by several as a possibility as to why they have found so many sellers to be lacking as it is very unusual.

As for my own understanding I have a business on both eBay and Amazon and sell around 5,000 items per week and receive messages that often take a second or third reading to clearly understand what the buyer is querying and these messages aren't only difficult for me to read but also for my employees so it isn't just me.

The OP has stated that their understanding of the descriptions on the listings are not the issue which makes the OP very unlucky and obviously eBay agree.

I'm sorry to say this but I laughed so hard after reading your post. How do you expect buyers to contact you ??!! hahahaha seriously this was the funniest post on here. I imagine some sellers are doing a selection of messages before deciding to reply or not :

Has the buyer made any punctuation mistakes ?
Has the buyer started his sentence using a capital letter or not ?
Has the buyer made a space before the comma or not ?

    Hilarious hahahaha

Ok, now back to the topic , here is a copy paste of the last message I've sent to a seller who sold me an INAD :

"Hello There, I'm sorry to inform you that I've received yesterday the parcel but I found it not as described. The PS3 is not reading discs and keep making an ejecting noise. In addition that the grey controller is not charging whilst the another one is fine. In the listing it says clearly that it is in perfect working order while I find this incorrect.

I want to return this item ASAP and get a full refund

    Thanks"

Was my message clear or not ??

Concentrate on your problem, because that's what it is: Yours.

Ebay have contacted you. That in itself is a warning to change your ways, irrespective of how your appeal pans out, and of how you feel about their action.

As a full-time seller, it's nice to see the report feature may be working. Though now your feedback has disappeared, that makes it easier for you to buy from a lot of sellers. Not good if you still aren't happy with 3 of every twenty purchases.

If I was to supply someone with your feedback record, I'd be on tenterhooks waiting for problems to arise.

If you have so many problems buying through ebay, why not find other sources of supply? If you were having as many problems in a supermarket, and you had a choice, wouldn't you start shopping elsewhere?

Some neutrals and negatives are justified, but either you're too trigger-happy or you're buying badly.

You say you spend a lot of time on ebay. Maybe you should think of how you can improve your own buying experience, as what you do now has bought you to ebay's attention. If 15% of the time you're less than happy with the result of your purchases, work to make your level of satisfaction higher.

Those are all, I hope, constructive criticism.

Yes , that's constructive criticism. Thank you for your time and effort I appreciate it.

I'm still buying of ebay because the majority of my purchases are good ,as described and sometimes I consider them to be a great value for the price.

I've tried Gumtree and Amazon but didn't found much traffic and good items as on eBay.

Clear message, certainly nothing to cause confusion in my opinion. Although it is obvious that English isn't your first language from that.

Sounds like that PS3 probably just need a new disk drive though. Not to say you shouldn't return it, just that it's probably a fairly simple issue.
