Halifax Planned O/D Charge

Hi,

I looked at my bank statement online today and for some reason Halifax has charged me for planned overdraft when I have arranged overdraft which I haven't used for the last two years. I also have money in my bank so I don't need to use the overdraft.

Is this normal because I have been with Halifax for long time and this is the first time I have been charged for overdraft?

Is this one off charged or will they charge everyday/month?

What can I do about this?

Thank you all

Depends on your account, but I would guess it's a daily charge.

Best thing to do is stay out of your overdraft.

You may get a better response on The Budgeting & Bank Accounts Board rather than here on The Credit Cards Board.

I would suggest in the first instance you contact your bank and ask them for an explanation. :)

Please stop posting sensible replies. That's not the way it's supposed to work around here. :D
