Could you not add 'signed under duress - not examined'? Don't know if that will help in any way but at least it makes your position clear.

That is the final option I thought about after handing over the prepared statement and ATOS still insisting on doing their own.

'signed under duress - not examined and not in accord with the statement I handed over'

Damn good idea, thanks - very constructive.

Mind you I can see the DWP throwing it out - but nothing lost, nothing gained and I keep control of the evidence that the DWP hold.

It's an interesting philosophical scenario though.

You have to give him that ;)

As I thought - nothing constructive or helpful.

Err yes, but do you think that pain relief medication is the only thing I have to take? I do actually have many disabilities and conditions, some mental, some physical. All are treated with medication. My repeat script runs into 5 and a half pages every month! Of those, only 3 items of the 28 actually relate to pain management.

well thats true, I'm sure CAG will be pleased to have you back there
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama ;)

If you don't want to draw attention, where it says 'signed' or 'signature', you could omit your usual signature and just write 'under duress, unexamined' or something even shorter. If it isn't noticed and complained about it should stand. Signature it if they insist, though.

I would personally sign say I cannot verify that what is read out to me as written just as I sign goods received but not checked in front of driver as he has to rush off to next delivery,
I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.
