Doesn't matter if they are wrong or not, there was nothing in the T&C's either stated or implied that prevented the use of them.

Sadly this is what happens when companies do not spend 5 mins on the internet to check how to run a competition.

There's nothing in the terms stating I can't shoot the other entrants, does that make it ok ? Wrong is Wrong

Shooting them should not harm your entry although might hamper your chances of collecting the prize.

why would shooting the other entrants disqualify you?

You'd hopefully be sat in jail while trying to collect your prize, though. So I think that would be the downside.

That and with all the media attention, the PR company would most likely get away with never awarding the prize to someone who murdered in order to win it.

(I need to watch less bad reality tv)

I suppose there might be some legal loophole about not benefiting from a crime that the company could use to avoid giving the prize to the winner.
