I'm so angry! Train Manager with attitude!

In fact, in legal terms there has to have been more than one incident of following and or threatening someone for it to be considered stalking. One incident is not stalking and I don't think anyone really believes that it constitutes the level of legal involvement being recommended on these boards.

As I have said before, when you have a genuine case for complaint as the OP does, trying to ramp it up into something it isn't just makes the whole story seem less likely. Why complain about something which hasn't happened, when the things that have happened are perfectly reasonable grounds for complaint anyway?

I find it quite odd why someone would recommend calling the police for something like that anyway.

Its the equivelent of dialling 999 and requesting an ambulance for a stubbed toe. Its pathetic is it not?

The OP was mearly followed off the train by the conductor, she was not stalked by anyone.

If she follows the advise given by some people in this forum to report the train operators employee to the police as a stalker, she may find herself charged with wasting police time.

For all his past troll qualifications Dave is making a good point here. The train manager was out of order, the OP seems to have a good cause for complaint...she doesn't need to exaggerate or waste police time by reporting him for "stalking" (by any definition of the word)

Dont feel threatened or intimidated grannyboon everyone is entitled to have an opinion on anything, indeed thats the main reasons we have a forum. However, there are people (known to MSE'rs as TROLLS). who frequently go around forum sites in order to stick a spanner in on the hope of causing heated debates, they dont actually have any interest in the cases in question, they just have nothing better to do, and with having nothing constructive to offer, they only get a thrill out of causing a reaction, as it is the only way that anyone will reply to them. I have followed the so called TROLLS around MSE, and seen exactly what they are upto, I also find it coincidental that both TROLLS frequent the same forums and offer the same arguments. It is simple to delete them from viewing by siply clicking "ignore".

There is no point in trying to argue with them or use foul language, as that is just what they want, in fact the only way to irritate them is to completely ignore them, they hate having no attention. You cant report them for simply being trolls, all you can do is let other users know who they are, and their intentions.

The OP has had a terrible experience, as much as a gentleman that I claim to be, Im afraid even as a passenger, had I seen what was going on I would have simply knocked him out, with no questions asked, and apoligised to the OP for allowing her to see me do that. She should report it, theres no doubt he has done it before and it is bound to be logged. I would love to have him approach me in that manner, He would be off the train well before me, and before we reached any station, I could imagine half the public would applaud me for it. Rest assured one day he will come across the wrong person to pick on, its just a matter of time.

So the best course of action when dealing with staff you think are being less than polite is to assult them?

So the consensus from the learned members of this forum is that she should have either:

a) Dialed 999 and reported him to the police as a stalker.

b) Assulted him, leaving him unconscious.

And to think she came here for good advise...
