PetterNoster wrote: »Hi all, I've recently discovered this one: zoofast.co.uk. prices they have are really crushing. I'm tempted to buy with them, supplies 20, even 30% cheaper than anywhere else, free delivery to my area.
Has anyone tried them already? looking forward for any feedback...
Don't sell what I want so I'll stick with Berriewood!
Incidentally my local small pet shop can beat Berriewood on Skinners (but not Autarky)so don't assume that online is always the cheapest!
I've always dealt with Vet-Medic for wormers etcBeing polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

I've bought from a few different ones, online and "real life" shops.
In real-life/online combo shops, I use Partners Pet Supermarket (online shopping coming soon) and GJW Titmuss in St Albans, Jollyes in Enfield, and Scampers in Soham. Scampers don't have an online shop, but ought to. They only stock ethical, healthy stuff. No Bakers or Pedigree products there. They also have products which are really different to the usual pet shop offerings. I will not shop at Pets At Home for reasons too numerous to list here.
Online, I've started using VioVet. I'm not far from their warehouse, so I can pick up from there for free. I did use Active Hound a lot, but that did not end well, and the less said about it the better! I use Amazon a lot because they sell everything. I ordered a Flexi lead from Zooplus, which was much cheaper than anywhere in the UK, but took ages to arrive.
A random tip to share is to keep an eye on the online chemists. We recently got four 2kg bags of Skinners dog kibble for £2 a bag at Chemist Direct. They also sell random pet products you wouldn't expect to find in a chemist.© Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0 -
Reporting back on my experience with zoofast.co.uk.
I ordered a 10kg bag of Royal Canin cat food on 2nd. February. At £30.83 with free postage it was significantly cheaper than Viovet who were asking £51.07.
Got an email in stating that they were out of stock and it would be back in stock in a week or so. I asked them to just hold the order until the stock arrived but they insisted that I cancel, get a refund then reorder.
Eleven days later I got an email to alert me that it was back in stock. The price had magically risen to £38.69! Still quite a bit cheaper than any UK supplier, so I ordered a bag. It was delivered by Royal Mail seven days later.
So despite the strange and occasionally rather dodgy looking website, they seem to be kosher.0 -
I ordered two 10kg bags of Royal Canin for just over £60. Zoofast kept me informed of my order's progress and I received it within 5 days of ordering. Saved me a considerable sum and I will definitely use them again.
NB Customer service in Poland but quick and prompt reply to a query.0 -
I'm using Pet Planet for my dog food, I've just ordered 2 bags of 15kg Royal Canin at it was £89.78 and also they offer a tracking nr. to see the progress of your order0

i use petcarebypost. i think they are a small company, but they have good products, and their prices are very good. quite often they have freebie deals as well0

i looked at zoofast. certainly looks polish. can you be sure the products are the same. the brands may be the same, but products look different. also, should you need to send something back, that will probably cost more than the goods0
