T-mobile Upgrade phone faulty

Hi

I have been with T-mobile for a few years now and about 10 months ago renewed my 24 month contract and received a new phone as part of the deal. Last night the phone stopped working. Before I go into the T-mobile shop with it I would just like to confirm that my understanding of the situation is correct. Am I right in saying that as I have the phone as part of my contract then my claim for repair is with T-mobile not the manufacturer? I'm sure I read somewhere that some shops have tried to pass the onus onto the manufacturer.

Thanks for your input.

    With both:
supplier - Sale of the Goods Act,
    manufacturer - their warranty.

The former gives you stronger protection: Consumer Rights Armour

    Yes, especially if it's iPhone.

Thanks Grumbler. Not an iphone (I don't have that sort of cash to waste!)
