Right,finally worth firing up the computer to report roadkill finds
.
On Monday I found 1p near tyre air pumps. Today my jammy-dodger son found a 20p piece in the school yard.
Have a daily average of about 33p/day (bumped up by that £5 note found earlier in the month).DS was saying this afternoon "Was that £5 only in February?That seems aaages ago."(He was probably thinking of one of the notes I found in Claires over Christmas :rotfl:).

Well...... was about to give up but I finally found another 1p to befriend the other penny I found last month! My son is still by far ahead of me on 54p.
Seems my best success is the newsagents where the high school kids go after school. To date not had any luck near self serve checkouts, trolley bays or bus stops. That said I will keep on checking! Still optimisitc I can smash my current 1p a month best effort.

Finally had a couple of finds for February! 1p walking to work in London on Saturday, and 20p in Asda self service - but in the rejected coins section, not the change section if that makes sense. So I have equalled January's total of 21p

I thought I was on a roll at the beginning of the month and since then I have found a massive whopping 3p. My total this month is 18p so far.0
