A bit late in the month I know but I always do this anyway so would be interesting to see how much I pick up per month!

A tip for anyone that goes clubbing is that drunk people always drop change at the bar so when you go and order your drink make sure you do a quick look at the floor! OH and I once found nearly £8.00 in one night (found a £5 note that night).

Can I please join this thread?
My husband and I have been following this thread since Christmas. And taking note of the top tips given by like-minded people.
On January 1st, We set up a road kill pot and are trying to see how much we can find in a year. Yesterday, I found 3p whilst out walking.
Today I found a penny - that makes our total for this month so far £6.70.

Well, it has been a funny couple of days......very excited to find £1 in A$da last night......but the funnier thing is that today's roadkill amounts to a pheasant. Not kidding. Driving through the Dales we spotted an injured pheasant at the side of the road unable to get up. Mr HOK3Y stopped, put it quickly out of pain and is currently preparing it for dinner..........well.......I wasn't quite expecting that kind of roadkill but what the heck!

There we were sitting on a bench overlooking the Shropshire Hills ( my husband and I are away for a few days) enjoying the break in the rain, when all of a sudden I look down and spot this little brown circular object amongst the grass. To my amazement it was a penny. Once it has been cleaned up - another one for the pot!

Aww I was glad to hear Mr Hok3y put the poor pheasant out of its misery and I'm sure it didn't mind going in the pot after that. One good turn deserves another!

Well I've had a very poor month. Only 45p so far and nothing for the past couple of weeks. The vending machine at work doesn't seem to be working very well at all. What a let down harrrumph!

I'm fed up with this road kill lark now, I've still not found a penny......throws teddy out of pram lol!! I spend more time looking at the floor I'm missing out on the lovely blue sky!! XxX
