Here we are in the 4th month of roadkill rebels and it is turning into quite the coin awareness experiment! It is amazing to watch rebels getting better at finding coins as time passes and also very interesting to see that some months are tighter than others across the board. In the process, there have been some crazy things done in the name of roadkill finds including a bit of a scrap with a co-worker for a 5p! I tell you, do not get inbetween a rebel and a penny......it won't be pretty!

Rules? Well not many - just find as much roadkill as you can between Feb 1st and 28th. The only stipulation is that it must be found outside of your home and/or car - it has to be money that genuinely wasn't yours or your family's before you found it! So if you find it down the side of the sofa, it doesn't count!

We also collect wombled receipts and discarded lottery scratch-cards to see if we can make some pennies that way too, and we keep track of these earnings separately. I keep track of my finds on an excel s/s and within my signature but you can keep track however you like. Then, at the end of the month, you can report your total finds.

Thanks, I hope I make my way up to skipper, I'm not at that level yet I'm just a made man. Yeah I might be watching the Sopranos at the moment!

I would like to join this challenge please.

I have always picked up pennies when I see them - once got £4+ in one go where some drunk had obviously been trying to get in his car on the passenger side and spilled the contents of his pockets all over the pavement.

We used to live on the edge of a car park and people often drove away leaving coins they had dropped whilst looking for the right change.

My son's cat once brought in a £5 note in his claws, but though we tried to train him he never caught more of those pretty blue leaves.

I have been following along in January (came in in the middle of the month) and have been actively looking and putting the pennies into my left hand coat pocket). Today I counted up and I have £1.27 + a 2p wombled receipt.
