January was a very busy month for me,and slow roadkill-wise,so I wasn't posting much.Found a total of £2.50.

Now,February,that is already a different story :j

Yesterday,found 6p.

Today,went to ASDA to get stuff for kid's lunches this week.I found 6p (2 coins) between entering the gap to join the self-service queue,and the till I went to (about 2.5m walk).
The scanner was not working very well-about 3 times I had to ask for help from ASDA staff.The lady was quite rude about it,telling me to simply enter each item's barcode manually.I told her the idea of SS tills was that they made my life easier,not more work(I didn't have my reading glasses on me,so I couldn't have done it anyway.)Anyway,when I still had about 8 items in my trolley that wouldn't scan,I turned and went to walk out,abandoning my shopping.
As I was about to exit the SS area,spied a £5 note on the floor.I swear,it was slap bang infront of a ss till,where a shopper was successfully scanning :cool:
I stood right next to this guy,pretended to suddenly need to do something on my phone,pressed afew buttons.The guy put his foot over the fiver and I thought he had seen it :eek:

But he hadn't:he EVENTUALLY left the scanner,I swooped down and collected the note and walked out.
Drove to another ASDA on my way home,did my shopping again,and came home £5.06 richer :T

well,not actually £5.06 richer,just £5.06 less poor,hehe

4p for me, found in Tesco and Aldi

There was a coin stuck in the scale at the self service checkout, for a moment I considered calling the attendant to say I had dropped it, and ask if she could she open the machine for me

Also checked for receipts,but no luck.

Wow! There have been some amazing finds already this month :beer:

Yesterday I rescued a slightly damaged looking 20p out the middle of the road. I also spotted what I thought could be a 2p out of some mud (I wasn't wearning my specs and it was the right colour). On closer inspection it turned out to be a really grubby 50p

So although no paper finds for me, I'm well up on my total from this time last month
