  • Not a hope! Your local library will have computers you can use.

Well, my local Jobcentre has a poster up about an organisation that sells renovated computers very cheaply. Alternatively, job clubs and other things provide computer use with internet access.

Otherwise, you would need to come up with some very convincing arguments and see if your adviser can find any money: I don't think your chances are very good.

if been claiming JSA income based for 26 weeks you can get a budgeting loan,, around £350 for a single person, interest free. they will take about £8 a week off your JSA

phone, or a friends laptop...any number of ways, if you are suggesting the OP is lying, then why bother even replying to the thread?

Apparently the Tories are now offering new laptops to people claiming benefits; https://www.torieslovebenefits.gov.uk/freebies/laptops

This has all changed now and it's done by your local authority.

I don't think anyone has suggested that the OP is lying. I think the point (as I read it) was that they are able to access this forum and therefore could use the same method for job searching.
