Hi folks-currently on JSA - my lap-top has totally died and really do need a new one for job searches/applications etc. Struggling as I am only getting £60 a week. Can I get help? Any advice etc greatly appreciated.x

Not a hope! Your local library will have computers you can use.0

Well, my local Jobcentre has a poster up about an organisation that sells renovated computers very cheaply. Alternatively, job clubs and other things provide computer use with internet access.
Otherwise, you would need to come up with some very convincing arguments and see if your adviser can find any money: I don't think your chances are very good.0 -
Can you not just use the one your using now?0

I don't think anyone has suggested that the OP is lying. I think the point (as I read it) was that they are able to access this forum and therefore could use the same method for job searching.0
