Sorry for your loss gayle. I'm glad your boys had a great time. Makes it all worth while. Don't let anything take the shine off your day - maybe go and make yourself a nice cup of tea and have some left over party treat if you have any and decide not to read the thread again as its descended into something completely unnecessary and quite unpleasant.0

Hi,I wouldn't worry about whatever anyone says as long as your kids had a ball, if it was me in your position I would take it very lightly whatever people say let them walk in your shoes for a day and see if they object so much.C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z #7 member N.I splinter-group co-ordinater

No intention on my part to take the shine off your day, Gayle. I was just surprised when you mentioned the charity. They obviously have their place, and I'm glad you enjoyed them.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0

no but u need to be more open minded and not opinion based yes u are entitled to ure opinion but not when it offends others that are truely trying their best0

gayle, just wanted to say that you sound like a lovely mum.
My children are grown up now with children of their own and they still remember their birthday parties fondly as I am sure yours will too.
Keep up the good work. I have enjoyed reading your resourceful ideas.0 -
Hi GAYLE. I haven't posted on your thread before but I am glad that your boys party went well and that you were able to get the cakes for them. I remember, many moons ago, struggling to put a party together in a low budget and think you have done really well. Hope you manage to get the shoes.
God bless

Gayle I am so very sorry that you have been upset and wish I had never asked the question.
However I have now been able to get more information on the free cakes and feel it should be shared with as many people as possible.
It is not a registered charity but a community group, you did not get something for nothing but a gift from someone who wanted to give a child a cake, hugs meg
