Hello all, I'm pretty new to posting so sorry if this is in the wrong thread or anything

I'm a British born student, studying in Europe, and I need to borrow between £1-2k for an eBay investment. I did it last year and it was absolutely great, so now I'm looking for as much money as possible to make even more

The problem is that 1. I'm a student.. 2. I'm abroad.. 3. I'm unemployed

So I'd like to ask what's the cheapest way to get a hold of that amount of money in my circumstances? (Which would be potentially paid back in 4-5 months max)

Thanks in adv for any suggestions! :)

Save the money from your last successful investment?

I heard holes for washers are going to be this years ebay top seller.

I know i need some of various sizes.

  • Best advice i can give is to get a part time job even if its waiting tables at weekends. Much easier to get credit when you at least have some form of income.

Then just start small and get bigger.

That market is satuated with sellers - all the doughnut hole sellers are switching over.

I know I should've used the money from last time but I didn't get a summer job and I lived off of that for a year

I don't know about washers, I already know the market that I'm going into ;)

I kinda need the money really soon, like within 2-3 weeks. And I'm abroad so I can't work here without knowing the language (which is super hard)

Just 1 of those would mean you had little chance of getting a loan - all 3 combined, you've got no chance.

Hi, do you know of any credit cards/loans that I could possible take out?

I thought I might add that I'm in an EU country, so I'd need to get the money then take it out in euros.. I know transferwise has amazing rates, but I don't want to spend from the loan/credit card because I'll get charged a fee for the currency

I'm so sorry! I was writing a reply when you posted your message so I didn't see.

Right I see, it's unfortunate because my plan is water-tight and I'm in such a good position (I know a lot of people believe that about their investments but mines tried and tested)

And I'm abroad till end of Feb (live with parents in England)

I've heard all the warnings... but perhaps a payday loan?

You are not in the UK - no UK lender is going to lend you a dime. How will they chase you if you fail to repay.

You'd need to look in the country you are in, but being unemployed will probably block that.
