Soletrader Refuses Refund after Salesman Lies

Maybe you have'nt worn them long enough did the 'expert' tell you how long it would take for the to start fitting comfortably?
Maybe on someone else they did give enough to be comfortable...it could be your feet that have the problem?
The decision to buy was yours after you had discovered they were uncomfortable.
Just take responsiblity and sell the shoes on..someone else may find them comfortable.0 -

I thought the ethos of this website was moneysaving.
Isn't the clue in the website name?
Seriously, it's not just about 'helping people the small people beat the big dogs'.
It's giving advice, opinions, documented facts (as in post #21) and maybe personal experiences to help people decide if they can 'beat the big dogs'.
That's what you've had.
You may not like what people have posted but they have given their opinion - as I have.
I've been into Soletrader and - nice and helpful as the assistants were - I would not believe them if they told me that the shoes I was trying on that felt uncomfortable, 'would expand with time'.
But you obviously feel you have a very good chance of winning this so I wish you good luck - I hope you come back and let us know how it turns out with this company.0 -

I debated that too...but the next replacement pair did it a bit also.
I found that due to the fit (wide), internal cushioning and build (quite solid sole) that people who may have had anatomical changes to their foot (i.e. a fracture) may experience problems.
Applies to all shoes really but still humbled to get the new pair without any hassle
