Ohh Cheryl, you've just made me think, I have some bacon in need of using up, as well as a garlic and herb Philly stir in sauce....reckon if I get some mushrooms tomorrow I could do a take on ham and mushroom tagliatelle.....

Anyone know how mushrooms freeze? Last time I bought some I did end up eating mushrooms for a week as OH doesn't really like them.

best sliced (or chopped if true button mushrooms) and frozen spread out on a tray before bagging. and then best used in casseroles afterwards.

    Yikes,that's a lot!

Kitty has never had her teeth cleaned.I will find out tomorrow if it's needed.I'm not sure how much it is.They can't do it at the same time that she has her vaccinations,so I'd have to go back with her in a few weeks.Thank goodness I have a 'vet' budget!

I agree, best to slice mushrooms before freezing them.

That's what they did where I am a number of years back, a lovely big flood relief channel that had proved very effective....unfortunately the water it has diverted ends up being dumped further downstream much to the 'displeasure' (to say the least) of the people in those villages. My tone not very popular with them now :o( not that we actually built it ourselves)
