 Ive been with 02 for 4 years and am due to upgrade. They would not offer me a deal or beat the other networks offers like they used to. They said now they treat existing customers the same as new customers. Im annoyed about this as im a loyal customer and am also a select customer due to my high spend.

I was put through to disconnections who cancelled my contract and refused to also offer me any deal to keep my custom. Apparently headf office have told them they can no longer offer extra minutes, half price line rental etc to existing customers.

The new tariffs offer unlimited texts/minutes over the weekends?! What more do you want?

They didnt offer me unlimited calls or texts! I was only offered the tariffs that are on their websiite! and had to pay for the phone. Yet get it as a new customer and you get it free with cashback / half price line rental

o2 direct don't offer 'half price' line rental on new connecting customers. The online tariffs come with unlimited texts/calls at weekends, check the website.

Hubby has just come to the end of his 18 month contract with O2 & rang to get a new phone/reduced tariff etc and was told he could have changed his handset after 12 months???!!
He's definately not a top spending customer either - never goes over his allotted minutes/texts, so is not really a customer they are making lots of money on. Strange....

There are other sites that you can get an o2 contract with other than 02 themselves which give you half price line rental!

Yeah but then you are their customer, not o2's... so would need to check out their warranties, returns policies, etc etc.
