I don't wear heels either. For my wedding I bought some actual ballet shoes (leather ones) then changed my mind and bought some ballet pumps. I wore the ballet pumps but by the end of the evening they were rubbing my feet and I wished I had stuck with the ballet shoes...they were so comfy.

I bought ballet pumps too but my reception venue fell through and we now have a marquee - with it being in the middle of a paddock (August or not this is Britain!!) I worried about it being wet, damp or cold and so I changed my mind.

These are the shoes I have changed for - I wanted custom converse but didn't want to pay £70+ for them - these were from a lady I have on my fb (as you can see, this is the pic she took of them) and were £35. They aren't proper converse, just white pumps but I preferred that as all the converse I could find had red and black lines round the built up sole...

  • you can buy wedding trainers with ribbon instead of laces and you can even have you and your partners initials on them in diamant! s they are super cute.

Thats what I have but I have decided to buy thicker ribbon as I think I would prefer that to whats in mine.

My other half hates heels as well so is just wearing a simple pair of flat shoes similar to these

Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

My daughter was my bridesmaid and at 6ft 1" towers over most of the new in-laws! She wore converse with her knee length dress. Looked stunning - and walked way more elegantly than some of the guests in their 5" heels!
