Aw thanks for replies, girlies!! Must admit Im feeling a bit more relaxed today. Also, got an unexpected mini windfall today of £100 which will be used for travel expenses to and from uni wooooooop!! Chuffed with that!! Could it be the universe helping me out??
No. Just some insurance money hahaha!!
Hmmmm. Ive never done a vision board before - what do you reckon then, INOD?? Have you got one on the go? It does appeal I must admit.
Other ideas - try to do at least one thing every day that will help achieve at least one goal. EG today - went to a local May Day fair and didn't spend any money (helping with debts) but still had a lovely time bumping into people I've not seen in yonks. Im about to do some uni work too which is helping towards my career aspirations...hmmmm. Keeps me focussed I think?
Health wise I've got 10 weeks til I go on holiday so that's something to sort right there!! 2 bikinis to get into. Slight danger of looking like the ballet dancing hippos from Fantasia just now. This must change!!2014 Frugal Living Challenge

I have a vision board, it hangs on my bedroom wall. It took about a month to first see what I'd like and then to gather up the pics but it's a good thing to do and seeing the stuff every day does make you think. Things range from a pic of a beach to quite specific places I want to visit. Pictures of various animals I want to see, a large diamond, a mews house in Chelsea,Audrey Hepburn (I don't want her, just the elegance she typifies), a stack of books, the caption from an ad that says "wrap yourself in luxury", that's my love of cashmere and even less PC textures that feel lovely. It also has people sitting at a table, a nice garden, a cheque made out to me for £500k. It's a big big board. Having said that, I'd never put a pic of a bikini up there. For me, the Chelsea mews house is more of an optionMortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Cheers lovely xxx its definitely an inspiration. Also saw in your diary that you subscribe to the 2014 Goals thread - never knew it existed! I've subscribed as the reading I've done on it so far is really inspirational. Appreciate your honesty, INOD, its very helpful to me.
Love your mood board! Some beautiful images on there. I want to be in your garden, raising a glass to you! Wonder what would be on mine.....
Lets have a think. Loads of music bits and pieces. New bands. Particularly female artists. Images of....ooh, what??
Peace, I guess. Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh.
Oh Divas suddenly feel a bit weary. It's been a long and hard few years.
So yes, I think I want a bit of peace. And creativity. That's going on there. Cities I want to visit and re-visit. New York. And Dubrovnik.
TBC methinks!!!
Whats on your mood board Divas?? Do you have a 'real' one or an 'in-your-head' one? xxxxxxxxxxxx2014 Frugal Living Challenge

Loving the idea of a mood board. A pic of the slimmer me, ya know, the one bc(before children) would be centre piece. A landscaped garden cos ours is still very child orientated(huge trampoline etc..), places I want to visit, Highlands and Islands for starters. Hmmm, need to give this some more thought.........Busymumofthreeplusdog......

I also have a pic of mad people bouncing at the front of a stage. I do love live music, comedy, shows, etc. and I've just, from my bed prone position, noticed the "seize the day" caption. Makes me wonder how much worse I'd be if I didn't have thatMortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. I'm delurking
Love your goals. It's really worth refreshing from time to time isn't it, and seeing if you still want to be King of the World/ grow your own veg/ buy a house. Goals can change as life changes and I think that's fine.
Having said that...I'm sure you are but you're prepared for what life in the music industry will bring, yes? I only say this because I work in the arts and whilst it is a GREAT life, it's not without challenges. Namely the endless uncertainty. It does have moments of getting very old. On the other hand, if 15 year old me saw what I do for a living she'd be pretty impressed. As a rule I tend not to have to deal with idiots in my working life. And people think my job is a lot more glamorous than it actually is0 -
