    The budgetary stuff:

    Spend-free days: 0/15.
    Food spends: £0/£129 (that's reduced by £20).
    Petrol: £0/£50.
    Savings pots: £0/£121.

Supermarkets: we are changing from tescimos to morries as tescimos is ridiculously expensive (it's crazily bad).
We are going to get the main shop from morries and ask my mum to buy some other stuff from al3i when they go every Saturday.
    :)

Main food aim is to try and make slow cooker lasagne.
    :p

    So... as of 2/2/2014:

    Spend-free days: 1/15.
    Food spends: £14.87/£129.
    Petrol: £50/£50.
    Savings pots: £121/£121.

Spent £14.87 in morries but this should give us lots of food options for the next week.
    :)

Filled the car with petrol... should last the month (forgot the rules so that's why we also went to shopping as I thought it was a spend day).
    :o

Also noticed that morries has a food bank box too. So we don't have to go to tescimos at all. (apart from petrol).
    :D

So... the zombies have been round, given me a clip round the earhole (cause I forgot the rules) and then left again. We have now barricaded the door and have attempted to memorise the rules to avoid them maybe getting a nibble next time.
    ;)
    Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91
    Savings: £0/£6400

RainbowBridgeReturns - Congratulations on shutting your NEXT account and clearing your overdraft!

1st SFD Today. Another trip to the zoo with my pass with OH, took a packed lunch so a free day out and also great to be out in the sunshine today! Hiked around it for a good couple of hours so I will class that as an exercise session!

    Exercise = 1/12 Sessions

Spent the remainder of the afternoon catching up with friends over tea, and finishing the day off with an evening in with ma.

Time for a hot beverage! Bevvies all round!

  • Good Evening one and all. Look how many pages there has been since I last logged in!! I would love to sit and read them all now but I am SHATTERED! Messaging from my NEW HOUSE! Whoop!!

So the move went okay today... although I packed my motorbike keys in the stuff I sent with the Van Man and my landlady had to drive me to my friends house ( where we were going to give them my bed ) then to the new place with Van Man who then drove me back to the old place cause I rummaged and found a spare set of keys...Phew!!

But the new Landlord who shall henceforth be named LL (ha) has left his evening for the week as he has such weird shifts he finds it easier to stay with his girlfriend on the other side of town! Suits me!!!

So me and Mog are about to get ready for bed so I shall be updating foody totals tomorrow but today was a spend day of £43 for a van and a Mumsy sponsored £2.30 on chips and a drink cause I was SO hungry...

Anyway... toodle ip for now. Think of me walking to the station tomorrow. It will only take an hour...;-))

As promised a daily update :j

Very productive day today. SFD as I didn't go any further than the back garden.

Just frozen all of the batch cooking from today. Mostly cooked down mince in 3 different forms plus tomato sauce for home made pizza. Managed to freeze 11 meals for myself and OH which will help out during the month :T

Whilst in the kitchen I also completed the clear out of the food cupboards, fridge and freezer. I now have a lovely list of everything in the fridge and freezer and most of the cupboards. Just have the spice, oils and vinegar etc. cupboard to sort and then inventory the baking cupboard which has already been sorted :j Counting this as another declutter so 2/28. I'm working on decluttering a specific area each day in Feb. it may only be a drawer or a cupboard but 1 a day will hopefully make a difference.

    Down to budgets:

    SFD 1/15
    Food £82.31/£130
    Fuel £0/£100
    Declutter 2/28

Hope your move was pain free NSK

See you all tomorrow. Hope you all have a frugal day and manage to avoid the zombies

    Chez x

Not a SFD today as had to buy DH birthday presents, a friends daughter's present, some bits from b00ts and a big bunch of daffs:)

Yesterday wasn't a SFD either as I did a big stock up shop in Aldee and tesc0s. Not sure how I will manage on my £200 food budget this month as I have nearly spent it all:eek: my food budget started last Sunday and I have enough (except fruit and milk) to last 2 weeks.

I have decided my Feb decluttering target will be the garage, the boot of my car and DS toy box.

I paid my savings first this month and while I would love to find another £65 to round it up to £400 in reality not dipping into the pot would be a result.:)
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
    Make £2021 extra income - £99.75

Quick post as it's past my bedtime but only just had chance to catch up on all of your posts.

Congrats on successfully moving house NSK

Congrats rainbowbridgereturns on clearing your debt

Today was SFD number 1. I ran 7km (furthest ever!) on the treadmill and walked the dogs 3 miles :) I decluttered one tiny item but that's one less thing I own. Going to do a huge declutter in half term.

Hope everyone has a good Monday :)
