I'm loving the fitbit - I know its a gimmick but its really making me get out and walk - I can feel myself walking faster and my tummy feels loads better. I was surprised that I clock up around 3 miles at work - walking back and forth from the hall several times a day to our classroom which is in a portacabin away from the main school.
I've not been to sw for a couple of weeks - I'm hoping I'm still in target. I have no intention of ever paying againMy fiver a week is being put aside for summer clothes.
I'm hoping the bank accounts change over tomorrow without hitches - I can't wait till payday so I can make an overpayment to my loan.........I'm hoping to pay £300 - which I'd never have been able to do if I hadn't been off work, no petrol to buy and I couldn't get out to the shops plus the 125 for changing accounts will help too. That will take me into the 3000'sJanuary spends - £587.580 -

Well so far so good with the changeover of my bank account - I'm not due for anything to go in or out until 15th and beyond but since that is Sunday I'm hoping my wages to go in tomorrow - fingers crossed.............
I went to sw this evening and put 1/2 on in 3 weeks - I was well chuffed as chocolates, biscuits and crisps began to jump into my mouth without me realising they were there. I'm still in target by 1/2lb and didn't have to pay......that'll do for me6 weeks at target £30 towards some summer tops.
January spends - £587.580 -
I bought a jacket today reduced from £60 to £35 - I used my sw cash so with this week the cost will be covered because I'm hoping to be still within target..........I like this feeling and need to remember it.
Life seems to have been very busy since I went back to work. I seem to be constantly on catch up. I went out on a hen do on Friday which was great then followed it with a day out with ds for my Mothers Day treat yesterday - a 7 mile walk followed by a lovely meal. I was up at the crack of dawn to make a cake for my mil (didn't have a clue what to get her) this morning then we went to the big shopping centre near to where she lives. Feeling pretty tired so plan some early nights this week.
My wages went in the bank no problem - so far so good with the switch - my £125 for switching has gone in too.January spends - £587.580 -
Just checked bank and 1 payment hasn't gone through so will need to chase that up tomorrow - everything else seems ok with the switch.
I have had a really busy couple of weeks and am feeling really tired. I have eaten lots of rubbish and meals out and although I enjoyed them I can feel my tummy objecting. I need to get back on track with both my eating and spending.
I've done lots of walking - best part of 5 miles or more most days so feeling a bit smug on that front.January spends - £587.580 -
Roll on tomorrow when we break up - it's been a long half term since I went back to work. The stress levels have been sky high as we are expecting a visit from OFSTED before the end of the year...........wish they'd just turn up unexpected... I just let it ride over my head..........
Off to look after my grand daughter for a few days over the holidays - can't wait.
Still not made an overpayment - its crazy - I don't want to part with the cash somehow it feels like a security blanket - but I KNOW it makes sense to make the payment..........
Just watching Pretty Woman - forgotten how much I love that filmJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Happy looking after your grand daughter

Where has time gone - I ended up staying in London a week looking after my granddaughter, she is really beginning to show her character and I can't believe she is best part of 18 months now. DD was very appreciative and left money for trips out and paid for my train tickets - so I wasn't out of pocket (although I took loads of baby clothes I'd bought when on offer, but I love doing that) I had lots of fun and could have easily smuggled her back in my suitcase
I wish they lived nearer.
DH was off work when I got home and we had a few nice days out and some treats thanks to the ppi money
Back to work tomorrow and not looking forward to it at all - I've already had text from other staff experiencing panic attacks at the thought of going back - its crazy..........I wish ofsted would just turn up and be done with. I'm lucky that I've not let it get to me.....its a job which I enjoy and do my best at but it is a job and not my life.......
Ah well - off to bed. Night nightJanuary spends - £587.580 -
