    NSD today.

Feeling quite proud of a mse cardigan I have finished for gdd - done a stripey reversible jacket using left over wool. I even adapted a pattern, I didn't think I'd be able to do it as I am a bit of a knitting novice - hope dd likes it. They should have been coming for the weekend but baby has a temperature - pity as I was looking forward to seeing them but no good risking it.

Been looking at bank accounts - torn between 2 - theres usually not a big balance but I might as well get something for what is in there. I have Santander 123 but its currently costing me £2 a month and getting less than £1 back each month so not the best for me at the mo.

Quite a spendy day today £50 on food but that'll last a week plus some extras in the freezer - I shouldn't need anything else. And there's a few nice treats included in that ;)
Went out for a short walk around some local NT gardens - it was freezing so en route we stopped and bought a woolly hat for dh and myself - can't have the old brain cells getting chilly. That was a fiver. So £55 spend.....

DH dropped me at the garden entrance then went and parked up and I managed a walk around the garden - not much to see as it was frozen - poor old Mr Darcy would have been a tad chilly in the frozen lake today (Pride and Prejudice was filmed there) I was shattered after but resisted coffee shop but had a lovely milky coffee and chocolate eclair at home - all allowed on slimming world -so all in all a good day. My first proper outing other than to do a bit of shopping with dh.

I got to target a Slimming World - 1/2lb under even........feeling very smug with myself today.............that will save me £5 a week :)

Bit of a spendy day today ds birthday - so birthday present, meal and pictures but I'd accounted for it. The Theory of Everything is the best film I've seen in a long time. So had a good day apart from the horrid white stuff all over the roads.......

    NSD today :)

After journey from hell in snow yesterday - a 3 hour round trip to slimming world about 3 miles away!!!!! I had no intention of going anywhere.... frozen slush on pavements and roads.

I'm finding it a lot easier moving around and doing things but still got to be careful lifting and reaching. Got sick note until 25th February - I should be fine by then......

I watched Eat well for less today on catch up today, it was on tv last night - really struck home with me as I've become a bit lax and I need to use what I have in........now I'm driving a bit again I can do my own shopping rather than having to get dh to take me (although I really can't blame him for the accumulation of everything in the cupboards - twas mainly me). SO will do a menu plan and only buy what I need - thats my task for this weekend....

Soooo operation eat from home is going well - I have had to top with some fresh fruit, milk and bread but that is all I have bought - I've had to do it in relays too as I can only carry very light things still.

I got dh to watch the 'eat well for less' programme too - it was us to a tee and we did have a bit of a cheeky chuckle - cupboards full yet still going out and getting more food - in my defence I was featherng my nest in case I couldn't get out to the shops after the op.....but then I had the op and still got dh to take me out each weekend for a shop.....I am ashamed at the amount I have chucked in the bin this last month. I am usually pretty good... but now I'm driving short distances again I feel back in control :):):)

I don't quite know what to do with my fiver I'll be saving from sw now I'm at target.....my sensible head says keep it in the bank and put it towards my monthly overpay - I have some waiting to pay off as soon as I know for sure I'm back at work - my other head is telling me to put it with my birthday vouchers which I've been keeping safe since September - my incentive to help get to target weight is a shopping trip at big shopping centre near me and as soon as I'm up to a full day out that's what I'll be doing......decisions, decisions. I'm feeling pretty lucky to be able to have a choice.

I'm really looking forward to Saturday as dh bought me tickets to see The Lion King for my birthday......it seemed a long way away in September but it has come around at last.

I took my sick note to school yesterday and boss was fine about it - I saw the children for a few minutes and it was lovely to be missed. I was so tired after driving though - its changing gear which is tricky - you don't realize how many tummy muscles it takes. At least the day I drove in the snow I didn't need to change gear cos I never got past 1st gear!!!!

Off to do some catching up
