    So so sorry to hear the news, but then it was what I expected. Glad to hear that you were with him when he slipped away...all the MSE posters on the board know what it is like to lose a much loved family member and companion... that's the down side of having a pet: having to say "goodbye"

    Deeply sorry for your great loss. Womble was such a beautiful boy with the kindest face. You gave him a wonderful life & you were with him right to the very end. No more pain to bear for Womble. Thinking of you. Lots of hugs.xxx

    You know Womble had a good life and you made the right decision so that he would suffer no more. Its heartbreaking letting them go but its the least we can do. Take care.
