Yes, I don't know anyone who has ever completely lost all of the keys for their car, as opposed to say misplacing one set and later finding them in a coat pocket.
I also don't recall any threads on here from people losing all of the keys to their car, although of course I'm sure it does happen sometimes.
But the real point is that if the OP were to use the 'I've lost my keys' excuse that it will sound like a lie (it's just too convenient), which could easily just exacerbate your hypothetical situation. Hence to my mind it is a very bad (and probably unnecessary) plan.0 -
If OP needs an excuse(?)
