nearly forgot i had this...and cant find the 500 point offer when I search

doesnt look like the link is valid anymore but the voucher runs out on 21 July (my birthday!)

My wife and I got sent a voucher and there is nothing unique about them,,,, its just a generic voucher.

I will try to out the graphic on one of the photo share sites....but in the meantime if u want a copy ..pm me with you email and I'll forward the original email for you.

Is it essential to have a Nectar card to take advantage of this offer? The other D&A link page is not now functioning, so guess this is the only way. Mancunian, are you fed up with sending them out - you deserve to be!

Probably not and it's not the same thing.
You cannot jsut go and get a contact lens prescription in one day.
This is because the optician usually wants you to try the lenses and see how they fit and try them for a while before they will write you a prescription, sometimes this can be several months.

A lot of places do free contact lense trials but some charge if you decide not to take their lenses.

I went to specsavers who gave me a free assesment. They were then totally open and cool about my options.
I could either have their monthly package and get free checks or pay £20 annually for a check and just pay for the lenses I use.
They were totally up front and cool about whichever way you want to do it.
I opted for the later because I don't wear lenses very frequently.

Whenever I need lenses I jsut phone them up to get them ordered.

I'm very happy with specavers.

I believe that tescos are pretty cheap if you have one near you.

I was with specsavers but had 10 months supply i had not used so i stopped it last year but on last pack and going on holiday in few weeks and it will run out about now this pack.

So i am stuck specsavers say they wont do me one cos they wont let me go else where to buy it(did and order though Mr T and it was denied). i got an eye test at D&A free about a month ago but i never realised being mislead by specsavers the last 5 - 6 years that the lens eye test was not the same so the perscription i got does not cover me. i need new lens now and dont know what to do as i have 2 weeks before holiday

I dont think so....its no loss to them.

maybe make the appointment and when u turn up say u forgot your card ,,, but your not bothered about the points.

OR

get a card,,, they come fairly quickly...
