Cancelling Virgin and going freeview

Assuming you are on VM cable already, phone them up, tell them you want to cancel the TV and with any luck they'll put you through to retentions where you'll get a good deal to keep the existing BB and phone. You may have to tell them you're thinking of cancelling the lot to get retentions, but it's where the best deals come from.
That's what I did but I did cancel the TV.
I pay the same for a cable landline and 20MB broadband as my son who only has broadband.0
