Won a competition and just been told prize has now gone to someone else

Could I point out that a lot of companies, and individuals google their name. It could be that the company found the thread themselves, and might not be someone on here.
I don't have much time for comping but it's my little hobby and hopefully one day I'll get more time to enter :-)
