Popla gives more guidance to operators

So here lies the case that popla is giving guidance on how operators can win their case, yet again the 'independent' popla is aiding and abetting the parking industry!
Where is the guidance to the motorists ?

Yes quite, but I dont think it will make any real difference, will be fairly easy to spot if these companies change thier lies.....
The popla appeal was lenghy,
We will see if they change tact and it will be round 2 if they do!Proud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -
So lets review the situation :
1. We have corrupt parking companies issuing unlawful charges.
2. We have the BPA protecting said corrupt parking companies thus showing themselves to be equally corrupt.
3. We have POPLA assisting the corrupt BPA thus showing POPLA to be corrupt.
Could the whole con be ..... well ..... corrupt ?"The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
Up the game in return, start submitting estimated accounts of their income and expenditure arriving at a calculated figure of actual loss occurred.
They have the choice of admitting their own accounts, which I am sure the tax authorities will find useful.
I can not see how they can do it without admitting fraud.Be happy...;)0 -
Spacey I think that will indeed be needed!its certainly easy enough to doProud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0

The Prankster has detailed files, perhaps he can add a guide to estimating their accounts.
Every time they up the game, we must up ours.
Anyone have an account with company filed returns search access ?Be happy...;)0 -
Surely if everybody just parked within the stated rules and didn't overstay, use disabled bays, etc etc, most of these companies would go out of business.
Would that not be the best form of attack.0 -
What is life like on your utopian planet? The one where parking companies have ethics and morals? (They certainly don't here in the real world).0

It is like a game in a way, we just have to change the way we play from time to time.Proud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -

Just wonder why I have never ever got one of the private tickets.
Looking through many of the posts on here the people admit they have does wrong (overstaying, forgetting to buy a ticket, parking over the lines etc etc). this just give the parking companies the ammunition to carry on.
I would suspect if everybody just stuck to the rules, there would not be enough profit on the outright fraudelent tickets to make the business viable.
Just a thought.0 -
I would hope that you are being sarcastic, but I fear you really believe what you said.Surely if everybody just parked within the stated rules and didn't overstay, use disabled bays, etc etc, most of these companies would go out of business.

It is perfectly clear that PPCs deliberately entrap motorists to break their petty rules, and that the lie and cheat all the time.0
