Gumtree failure, where to next?

Hello all I have only just joined to get some advice.
I listed my renault clio about this time last week on Gumtree but have failed to sell it.
I got :
3 offers from what I think are dealers trying their luck.
4 scam artists
0 phone calls
So now I am at the point of willing to pay to sell but want serious buyers. My question is where am I more likely to sell a Clio for £2500?.. AutoTrader or Pistonheads?

Or eBay.... Classified or buy now listing might produce some leads at least.
Piston heads is a forum right? So would have a limited audience of genuine purchasers.
What's the spec?
By the way, gumtree is often a fail for selling most things. But being free its usually worth a punt at least alongside a real sales platform0 -
Local Facebook selling pages?
There's about 10 for my local area.0 -

Its a 2006 mark 3 clio, eBay I always thought was equivalent if not worse than Gumtree? Pistonheads has a classified section where you list an ad.0 -

I wouldn't say eBay is worse than Gumtree, I tried listing a motorbike on Gumtree a few times and didn't get anywhere but sold it the first time I listed on ebay. It was a bit lower than I had hoped for but the fees weren't too bad and the buyer was good, absolutely no hassle at all.

Thanks John, see thats what I am trying to understand. Where would I get maximum coverage and is a guaranteed sale for the right price. Is ebay suitable for a 8 yr old small hatch? In comparison to Autotrader and piston heads.. what do you reckon?
note: apologies to the responders above for failing to thank you but I appreciate the replies0 -
Do you have a link to the advert- maybe we could see it and advise you on how to improve it/make it more attractive.0

Go to the gumtree website. Type in 'Clio mark III' in london and my ad should show up0 -

Decent pictures and a sensible price, And if the cars in good condition with a decent service history it will sell easily.
Had no issues with ebay myself.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
