Thanks Starnac :j :j Merry Christmas to you too! :j :j
Been out to (finally!) post a couple of parcels this morning - annoyed myself when I realised that if I'd wrapped one differently it would have gone through as a large letter instead... Ah well, done now!
Got paid today :j :j So spent a bit of time allocating wages to various categories which made me Very Happy Indeed
However, it transpires I will have to do a bit more juggling about if I want to meet my savings target for next year... I want to put away £5000 next year into long term savings, which means £417 a month  Which doesn't quite fit with the budget as it stands at the minute:rotfl:
Bit more fiddling required I think
House insurance due 12th Jan and I'm going to see if I can get it down a bit from the £289 quoted so that'll be a bit of extra to play with, and we've got a £135 refund coming from Paypal so that'll help too :j
Determined we're going to make this savings target thoughSo that means save that FIRST then juggle everything else round...

Not planning anything just yet, but there certainly won't be another marathon!! Might sneak in a triathlonBut I know what I'm like about making grand plans over new year so I'll try to avoid at least signing up to anything in a fit of overenthusiasm!! :rotfl:
Presents all wrapped, Father Christmas and The Snowman watched, now Mr Cheery is in the bath and I'm getting cosy with a glass of advocaat. Feeling all merry and festive and thankful for you gorgeous MSE lot who've kept me going for years, even in my absence, and welcomed me back this year.
Looking forward to keeping up with you all in 2015 and seeing what we all achieve! :j :j0 -
Aw, how lovely! I'll see you one glass of advocaat and raise you a glass of port
:xmassign:
2015 will be a good year - lots of us are starting with a clean slate, or a running jump at things, no matter what the difficulties are "out there" I know mse will be a powerful agent of change for the better.
PS Of mystery too. Who is behind the mask? :santa2:

Cheery greeting to you and Mr Daff from sunny Shropshire, OH, the furry collie and I had a lovely little walk up Carding Mill Valley this morning, lots of people also taking healthy doses of fresh air too. Finished back at car with thermos of tea and shortbread biccies. Church Stretton looked rather empty and very peaceful.:)The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.
