Not too shabby actually! :j Will get the other two things crossed off this evening too :j
I should confess that Mr Cheery hung the washing up, not me:rotfl: and that I didn't go to the bike shop in person, but ordered online - but it achieved the same thing
Used my complaint-voucher to pay for a new snazzy front light :money: and realised I had a decent rear light, but it was stuck on with sellotape :rotfl: so I've ordered a new clamp thing for £2.99 :money:
Finally figured out the cashback site :j and have 33p tracking :rotfl: HOWEVER I didn't realise until it was too late that they've renewed my 'plus' membership which means they keep the first £5 :mad: Is it worth me cancelling it now - I'm assuming they'll keep it anyway so I might as well take advantage of the extra I suppose! :mad:
Bike ride was cheery :j 9.5 miles, and I'd forgotten just how much was uphill :eek: so I ended up walking some of it :eek: Didn't get out of the door til 2.30 so had to speed the last bit as it was going dark and I don't have any lights yet :eek: but fortunately I was dayglo pink and very reflective, and back home before 4pm so it was ok :eek:

Cheery - I feel a need to confess...;)
(...and you seem to inspire a good confession...)
We popped into MrS for OH's flavoured water (he's in the process of kicking the vino habit), some bananas & some broccoli...
Yellow stickers were plenty & a few pounds of bargainous cheese may have leapt into our trolley...;)
In fact cheese drawer in the freezer will soon be full for the grand sum of 5.60...:D
It will be at least 6 months before we stock up again...
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! :rotfl: :rotfl: at me inspiring a confession :rotfl: :rotfl:
But that doesn't sound like a confession, that sounds like a jolly good bargain!!:money: :j :j
A small confession of my ownwe're off to the shops to buy a pizza
:rotfl: BUT in our defence (should we need any such thing):
(a) it will cost £1 and feed both of us
(b) were eating in other places the next few days and will do a big food shop after that
(c) we're walking, not taking the car:rotfl:

I second that! We've had the traditional turkey curry tonight
two different versions as DD likes it less spicy than OH. Very envious of the bike ride.. Or being well enough to leave the house!!
LBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

Oh no, have you been poorly stepup? How rotten
hope you're on the mend now. Did you have to cook two lots of curry while you were poorly?! Urgh!
Thanks RTin the end we didn't actually buy a pizza :rotfl: mr cheery had makerel and a bread roll, and I improvised from the cupboards, and had noodles, fried sprouts, chick peas and soft cheese
Worth going to the shop though - mini supermarket had loads of yellow stickered stuff :j we left plenty behind and still got
* 2 x 1kg bags carrots (9p each)
* 2 x 1kg bags parsnips (9p each)
* bag salad (10p)
* 2 packets of 8 tomatoes (10p each)
* 2 packets radishes (9p each)
:money: :j :j :j
Settling in for a well-earned evening on the sofa now :j
Ooh, MSE thigs I've done today (in addition to what I said earlier)
* emailed the cash back site to request they switch me back to free membership - I didn't even log in at all last year so no way am I paying for it! :eek: ) unlikely to earn enough cashback to pay 2 years of fees so I'll just leave altogether if they won't
* met my daily sw@gbucks target :j been quite persistent the last few days and its paying off :j Going to aim for £5 a month and it might pay for a few pressies throughout the year :j
Right, tea, sofa, biscuits0 -
On the mend now thank you Cheery! Very impressed with your yellow sticker haulLBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

oooooooooo good yellow sticker haul!
(and I feel much better knowing I'm not alone in giving in to the temptation!;))4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Oh i can always give in to a YS temptation
:j forgot we also got a couple of bags of satsumas reduced from £1.50 to 39p :money:
Visiting family today so shouldn't be spending anything I don't think :j0 -
Evening :hello:
No spending today :money: and actually we got given a bag of veg (Mr Cheery's family are going away and won't use it) :money: as well as some ace toiletries and food presents :j :j Most cheerful
I've also got a voucher from sw@gbucks which has cleared today so must add that to my account :j
And I've just taken the plunge and cancelled my magazine subscription... Only took it out last time because it was 10 issues for £10 plus a free mug, which I adore (and am currently drinking hot chocolate from) but it's since renewed itself at £17 for 6 months... hardly breaking the bank, but since the last issue is still in the wrapper...
so that's £2.83 a month saved :money: And my current payment covers me til April so I'll still get the next few issues anyway
Not much else to report. Got parcel notice while we were out today - presumably that's my sister's Christmas present...:rotfl: Will collect in the morning. Also got race number for half marathon in January :eek: No instructions, directions etc - just race number in an envelope by itself :rotfl:
Right, must go and defrost my toes... :eek:0
