Donington Park :D Mid November

Injuries stinging a lot less today, thank goodness :j and hand is scabbing over (sorry! :rotfl: ) so I can be a little less careful about it :j

Been out for a walk - spent most of last week outside and realised just how nice it was :j So even though the weather wasn't great, I just took my camera and a carrier bag in case of blackberries, and went for a wander on the local hillside :j I was out for a couple of hours, came back with a few blackberries, a bit of litter, and 1p roadkill :rotfl: Profit! :D

It was actually nice to go out without taking any money for once :j

Got given a bag of windfall apples yesterday too :j :j but I ate most of my blackberries with breakfast today so no pies for me :rotfl:

Got up too late and bus took forever so missed train by ONE minute  But it meant I had time to queue and pay with my voucher that I got when train was delayed (by 63 minutes, the letter informed me :rotfl: ) - so it was Half price, £10.45 off :money:

Hope the rest of the day flows more easily :rotfl:

I know  Sadly the startig price is right near the top of our budget... and it's listed so there'd be no doing my own plastering! :rotfl:

much more likely to land up with half demolished canteen on top of a coal mine with no water supply... :rotfl:
  • Hugs lovely I hope you're on the mend.

Both houses look stunning. Can I be your gardener?
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Ooh, I'd love you to be my gardener Pippi :D :j :j :j If we bought the giant mansion you could have the coach house all to yourself :rotfl: (the coach house is bigger than our current house :D ) :rotfl:

Off today :j :j Still sniffling and snuffling but getting better :j Just about to take the car to the garage - hardly 'first thing' but at least I'll have avoided the traffic.. :o:o Fingers crossed - it doesn't *seem* to have anything wrong other than one of the light bulbs out so fingers crossed!

Suspect we'll end up with neither sadly! :rotfl:

Car ok, MOT passed - just £80 all in including the test and some checking by the garage before it went :j

however there are a couple of bits that could do with looking at - brakes etc - have booked in next week so that'll be a bit more but at least tge MOT is sorted :j

Glad MOT went okay. Ours cost £180 last month  but thankfully for the first time ever we actually had dedicated car savings so it didn't impact too much on our budget.

Any plans for the weekend Cheery? How's your sniffles?
