I'm really bored of thinking about tax, so this was a [STRIKE]great way for me to bunk off for 10 minutes[/STRIKE] very important opportunity for me to explore.

Turns out you can use a freezer clip for the same thing :o:rotfl: though I don't have any hairdressing scissors. I didn't *buy* the freezer clips, honest, my sister gifted them when I moved here

ooh, a freezer clip! :money: i didn't think of that, well done you! :D

Will report back when they arrive :j

Er, just spent the same amount on a takeaway :o :rotfl: but that was from the treats budget so that's what it's there for, and i've actually managed to save half of it for lunch tomorrow :money:

I'd never thought of it either, Cheery, its thanks to you that it popped into my head, so ta muchly :)

I do want to smarten up a little, but instituting regular haircuts while I'm trying to get my act together financially isn't any good (I think I last had my hair cut 2 years ago, before a family wedding). So this could be a good'un :)

And as you say about your treats budget ... thats what its there for! And don't leave yourself hungry so you can have some tomorrow! I really hate being hungry in the middle of the night, I actually have some oatcakes upstairs for just such a life threatening emergency :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Don't worry - I don't *do* leaving myself hungry :D half the takeaway was actually the perfect amount and made me realise just how bloated i feel when i eat a whole one

:rotfl: at your life threatening emergency :D Fortunately for me once I'm asleep there's very little wakes me up so it's not usually a problem, even if i am a bit peckish at bedtime :D Trying to take advantage of this ability to sleep now by sleeping as much as possible in case i lose it later :D

Speaking of sleeping too much - i just missed the train to work... :o :rotfl: Idiot! (although i confess it was lying in bed reading the internet rather than sleeping - even more idiotic!) Ah well, i'll get there eventually and can stay til the later train if necessary today.

    What a plonker!

Decided to work from home as there are too many interruptions at the office!

Not sure it was the best idea as our little cottage is brrrrrrrrrrr cold! - going upstairs to get a pair of fingerless gloves and a warm sweater shortly!

I'm pretty much surgically attached to my hot water bottle all through the winter. Makes such a difference! :D :rotfl:

For goodness sake - just missed the train on the way home too! can't blame anyone but myself for this one either :o :rotfl: Except maybe my bike for being a bit rattly. Yep, let's blame the bike, not my fault at all :D :rotfl:

Ah well, on *a* train now anyway so at least it's warm, even if i do have to change in Doncaster for the second time today.

Honestly, I'm my own worst enemy sometimes! :rotfl: Idiot!

First weigh in (this time! :rotfl: ) at slimming world tonight...
