Feature offered in contract retractable?

Hello,

I am new here and will be grateful for any advice that anyone can give.

I have recently taken out a new contract with Three. I was previously on a SIM only plan with them but called Telesales shortly after Christmas to upgrade to an iPhone 5s. When I phone the advisor was very helpful and talked me through all the options. She looked at my usage and advised I went for The One Plan because I use a lot of data and tether too and that this is the only plan that would allow the use of unlimited data and tethering.

A few weeks on and I have sent an email to Three regarding another subject. After a few replies, this cropped up from Three.
If you look at the details of The One Plan online, we don’t actually mention tethering. It’s something we allow at our discretion, but isn’t a core feature of the plan. It could be the case we’d have to restrict the ability to do this in the future, depending on how much data is going through our masts.

Now this is something I dispute because although the details page for The One Plan does not directly say it includes tethering, other packages which do not include tethering advise customers go for the more expensive One Plan because it includes tethering.
SIM plans with All-you-can-eat data do not allow tethering (except for the One Plan). If you would like to tether, you will need to choose a Pay Monthly plan and / or an Add-On that does allow tethering.

Since I am now in 24 month contract with them and paying £46 a month, I am wondering if they reserve the right to remove this feature from my plan whilst in contract?

Thank you :)
