That the 12 month One plan was to go from £15 to £20 and in store, the 1 month £18 One plan had no tethering and was the service was never throttled.

This has been rumoured to happen from January 31st 2014.

This is incorrect. Three allow tethering on all One Plan Sim Only's, 1 month or 12 months. Thanks, I knew the throttling was wrong but couldn't remember the correct wording. Don't companies realise that trust counts when taking on new business? It's like you have to record everything they say, to be used later when disagreements start.0

Unfortunately I'm one of the people that always does this. The last time I did it was when I upgraded with Talk Talk last year. Recorded the entire call, got them to send out a letter and even rang back later all just to confirm that everything I was told was correct and that my new deal would be exactly how it was sold to me.0 -

Also we are talking new tariffs for new customers rather than a price increase for existing customers. If Three were to raise prices mid contract then we could cancel them.0 -

I don't know how many readers watch the BBC breakfast programme, they had Paul Lewis on there discussing the topic, the networks aren't stupid, basically as long as it is there in the contract there is no getting out, all it means is that in future subscribers will be made more aware by way of the notice being stated less in the small print, but those hoping to get that shiny handset without going the full term will be dissapointed.0 -
