    No normals here:o:rotfl:
  • Good morning all, it is raining hard here and I need to go out shortly :(

SpiralingDown - sounds like you are having a rough time of it, hope things get sorted for you shortly.

Thanks to this thread I managed to give up work and am helping my OH when he needs it in his business so allowing us to do bigger jobs and earn more through it. When he had the problem with his ankle I would have had to give up work anyway, this site just made it a whole lot easier, and rescued me from some pretty dark thoughts when they were saying he might lose his lower leg :(

I think the best thing this thread has given me is support and friendship, it gave me somewhere to vent when I needed to and I am not sure what would have happened if I had not had the lovely Elite to turn to.

And that says nothing for the stocks of WUL, washing powder, softener, Special K, air freshener and everything else I have stashed away, and for the quality of food we have been eating just lately :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Favourite glitch though had to be the T Finest meal deals I was getting for £2 :D

Come home to a broken boiler so not a happy bunny. Heating engineer coming out monday providing landlady gives the go ahead. Ì have to pay the call out fee and then claim back from landlady. Is this normal?

So not really happy to be home:(
Might have to go to mums for a few days.

Hope everyone else is having a better time.
Read something about airel is it collect/delivery only please?

    V x

Morning V, have you your contract to look at? Get in touch with your landlady asap and find out. I would have thought that it was entirely her responsibility though. X

    Hi, long time no see.
I've been sick for the past 4 weeks, 1st with a fluy thing for 2 weeks and then stuck in hospital for 2 weeks with highly raised CRP level of 380!!! Due to ovarian cyst turning into a huge abscess. Now being looked after by my folks waiting on appointment on Monday to let me know when they're going to operate.
Attention span carp so know I won't keep up.
Hugs to anyone who needs or wants them x

Had a quick read back, glad Tinyshoes got the mystery wine, I did the 2hr delivery slot option and requested delivery for this evening. Fingers crossed it arrives as I am having a party on Friday, will be gutted if it is full of WeightWatchers wine
Am now on the look out for beer deals :beer:

Thanks buyitall, both cases were pretty good selections not sure what colour you went for, but few of the reds were thoroughly enjoyed last night at our party. :D

One of our guests is a bit of a proper wine connoisseur and he was even excited to try one of the bottles that he never tried before.

Only the one Weight Watcher's in the white case, I didn't try anything from that last night as still had 1 OGIO and few of the Co-op glitchy white that was £1.50 left so thought better use them first.

Hope yours arrives ok. I do need a partner in crime on this one.

Are they in the £10 deal? ta

Yes, there are two in a packet.

We have not tried them (I'm Veggie) but there was a woman ranting about them, and getting loads.

Maybe it would be nice for people to say what difference the thread has made to their life

Thanks to this site i can afford to work part time and spend a lot more time with my daughter than i otherwise would. So thanks to you all for giving me that precious time

    Who else wants to play?

"Thanks to this site I ........"

    Thanks to this thread -
its helped me figure out some of the complicated glitches and grow enough back bone to be able to go out and participate in some of them eg last summers wondrous glitch.
You also help me figure out what is important in life and which things to shrug and let go - I like how one person starts evaluating their stashes and why they have them and their locations and then it ripples through and then loads of us are turning out cupboards, drawers, sheds, freezers ... And unearthing things left forgotten sometimes for years.

We have had a very emotional and tough few years and there have been very few days when I've not been reduced to tears of frustration or misery or despair or just plane unhappiness. But all around us people are reaching the very brink but pulling back and regaining control of their situations and lives and this encourages us all to carry on and go forward - in retrospect many situations are not as desperate as they seem and things happen for a reason, often it takes years for this reason to be apparent.
So I count my blessings everyday.
