    Good morning :)

Fantastic to see a fresh, new name starting of an elite thread, thanks muchly squigs :T:T

I don't think it should matter one jot how much money people have, we are all here driven by a similar goal - to save money and that's a good thing. I still feel that there is a small section in society that is the poorest of the poor that probably would benefit most from sites like MSE but don't own a laptop / computer and or an internet connection to access the wealth of information that could make a huge difference for them :(

Thanks to this site I have struck up a few of unexpected online 'friendships' - which is a lot more than I have in real life. One in particular is very special :):) There is no way I have saved as much money as some of you lot due to me being picky, location, choice of lifestyle etc but that doesn't bother me one bit. It's good to know I'm only a few clicks away from a group of familiar people that will put a smile on my face, make me laugh, or learn something new from. Thanks to all

Good morning Westvleteren, I hope you are well. I agree we have all got different goals and were are my manners I have gained so much from being here with you lot making new friends and feeling very supported and having many giggling fits along the way.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

    Good morning all

Thanks to squigs for the new thread

Thanks to savvy for the old one which was both glichy and harmonious.

Weather horrendously wet but I am running low on some stuff so will need to go to sada later after some very nice quality time babysitting this afternoon.

    Enjoy

:oAs usual I'm late to the party:( I've just signed up to green redeem so could some kind person tell me please how I get the £5 voucher please or am I too late:o I've just done my 1st 2 burger shops and thought I should give this one a try:o
I still think you can get a bargain even without the instore vouchers, not as good as the elite £6 shops but I bought
    2x Chicken
    2x Wine
    2x Veg pack
    2x Fresh fruit

and it cost me £15, I would have spent £10 on 2 bottles of wine because unfortunately all the £2.75 kumala has now gone:(, so the rest cost me a fiver which I was really pleased with:)

Maybe it would be nice for people to say what difference the thread has made to their life
    Who else wants to play?

    Morning all :)

I lost my job about a year ago and my husband had to retire due to ill health. With the extra time I have now, can read this forum more thoroughly and we can budget well.:) Wish I could find a glitch to contrubute back though:( When I look back at old bank/credit card statements, when we were both working, I cant believe how much money we wasted.:eek::eek:

    In response to aau’s request

I found the lovely elite through boredom. I was convalescing after surgery but had lurked earlier in the year on a thread that was not harmonious and left

I stuck with you around August and joined as I think you should thank most of posts you read and gain something from. I have gained lots from much more detailed weekly shopping and bargains at sale times.

I love the way when someone finds something everyone can share.
I love the banter. I’m much too serious all of the time
I love the support offered to those struggling as the anonymity makes it easier to share or advise.

I am back at work full time from next week. I have been part time for few months so will miss a lot of the postings but hopefully will get at least one daily catch up

Ok, whats the healthiest food to get from these M&S deals. Can you get fresh fruit as part of the meal deal. Im guessing 3 chickens for £10 is healthy compared to some of their ready meals. Ideas please:)

    Thanks in advance :)

Dam just had a look at the m&s website and too tempted by the goodies to get the healthy stuff :rotfl: :o
