  • Breakfast in a Box
    - a kind of mini breakfast in a thick slice of bread

It involves cocktail-size sausages, fried quails' eggs, little bits of rashers of crisp streaky bacon, halved fried or grilled cherry tomatoes, and some button mushrooms.

You need a thick slice of bread for each person, with a large hollow for the breakfast to go in, or a breadcake, split in half and hollowed out top and bottom; brush lightly with oil and bake for 5 mins or so in the oven.

The quails' eggs are cute, but you could do scrambled egg instead.

You could also fill the bread with devilled kidneys.

Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have a fabulous Sunday. Happy shopping.

Thanks to the the elite I have not had a wage rise for two years(that's not you fault:p) but I can pay my bills give my loved ones lovely presents and spend quality time with them and still pay to do the exercise I want to do. I have not had to cut back on anything. I have also gained a new freezer.:j
    Thank you.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

Good morning everyone. Off to M & S at 10.30 to get more chicken meal deals. Nearly trouted yesterday. Did not know you had to pay for the carrier bags on self scan. Thought these were the small free ones. She then saw my total for 2 meals was only £10 & said that can not be right. I then had to show my 2 MOCs & expected her to say you can not use them both but she just said okay & authorised my wine.

    Good morning :)

Fantastic to see a fresh, new name starting of an elite thread, thanks muchly squigs :T:T

I don't think it should matter one jot how much money people have, we are all here driven by a similar goal - to save money and that's a good thing. I still feel that there is a small section in society that is the poorest of the poor that probably would benefit most from sites like MSE but don't own a laptop / computer and or an internet connection to access the wealth of information that could make a huge difference for them :(

Thanks to this site I have struck up a few of unexpected online 'friendships' - which is a lot more than I have in real life. One in particular is very special :):) There is no way I have saved as much money as some of you lot due to me being picky, location, choice of lifestyle etc but that doesn't bother me one bit. It's good to know I'm only a few clicks away from a group of familiar people that will put a smile on my face, make me laugh, or learn something new from. Thanks to all
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
