    Hi, long time no see.
I've been sick for the past 4 weeks, 1st with a fluy thing for 2 weeks and then stuck in hospital for 2 weeks with highly raised CRP level of 380!!! Due to ovarian cyst turning into a huge abscess. Now being looked after by my folks waiting on appointment on Monday to let me know when they're going to operate.
Attention span carp so know I won't keep up.
Hugs to anyone who needs or wants them x

Oh SD you poor thing. :grouphug:

  • Morning all! Weather is tipping down here, for once I'm pleased to have my knee as an excuse so my OH has to walk the dog!

Bit late getting on here as was distracted by main grabbit board. Can confirm the stacked BHS codes work. Got 25% off the sale items and free delivery - well chuffed! Dont forget TCB/ Quidco if you go and have a look

I saw Martin L on This Morning in 2003 when on mat leave. I immediately joined up and started coup owning then.
Thanks to this site I had many years of free shopping (when Ts accepted coupons off any product) and also many years of extra points. At one point I had amassed over £6 k T point and was on my way to Motorpoint Glasglow to use them on a car. A week before I was due to go, MP pulled out of Tesci deals!! :(
I had a great AI hol to Egypt, loads of hotel stays and meals out.
Thanks to this site I reclaimed £000s back against an endowment policy for my parents.
Thanks to this site I have cut my bills right down and am now a saver.
Thanks to this thread I am more aware of where I spend my money and how much shopping costs. I have a nice stock pile and am able give stuff to family and friends. I am also able to do a car boot now and again when money is a bit tight, without having to dip into my savings. Also, I have been able to cut my hours down allowing me more time to spend with elderly dad and dd.
    Thanks! :T

Can everyone please remember the main reason we are all here?

It's to save money :money: pure and simple

What you do with any saved money is up to you ;) we should all be happy for people that they can afford something they might not otherwise afford without the thread

i love this quote from aau1 we obviously would not be here if we did not want to save money ;) i have been accused a long time ago of being posh and on the wrong thread as we have 6 horses..
the same people regular go on holiday drink, smoke and eat out. in 25 years we have not been onholiday dont drink or smoke or eat out and these savings allow us to keep our horses which are part of our family and we would be lost without.

SO THANKS TO THIS SITE i can keep my horses and not have to worry about household bills, and my son was able to go to college also more important than money thanks to this site i survived the worst year ever last year because of the love and support shared on here xxxx

    Morning all.

Busy Spider, your grandmother loved you enough to leave you some money, so why not spend it on something you love that would remind you of her every single day. That's what I'd do.

Thanks to this site we paid off our mortgage early, nearly four years ago now. Thanks to this thread and the elite community we continue to have a comfortable life even though I now only have poorly paid part time freelance work (my choice).
