I've a raspberry but its only its second year, I don't know if I should cut it back or leave....:think:Enterprise_1701C wrote: »I cut my raspberries right back to the extent that there is just a stick sticking out of the ground. They grow from the root so this helps them save energy. I must be doing something right because I normally get quite a prolific crop.
Struggling with my blueberries though, one bush grew well last year but the other seemed stunted, am wondering what I should do and whether I should cut it back.
same here cut the raspberries hard after fruiting as they fruit on new growth and like you get good crops made lots of jam from them, i have not cut my blue berries back and getting good crops they are about 5 ft tall my sister gave me a blueberry in a pot i planted it with mine but it did not grow so disapointed then found out it was a tophat variety and they dont grow tall:rotfl: its back in a pot now,0 -
For any Sada 'shoppers' using shopiteyes, if you forget to save a barcode just type the barcode number from the receipt into http://www.terryburton.co.uk/barcodewriter/generator/ It creates the barcode onscreen which can be scanned with your iPhone. Please don't quote this message because I'll probably delete it later :-)0
