Sorry I've been MIA for a couple of weeks - I have popped on now and then but not able to catch up on all. ...

Whoa Msgoggins - great to see you posting again! This is timely because you were the first person to welcome me on this thread once I'd built up enough confidence to post ...... I hope things are going well with you.....:j

What does this thread mean to me ........ my goodness it has been our saviour... I discovered you during the great rice pudding apg glitch. I'd landed by mistake here a few times but didn't figure it out. But one evening I had my eureka moment - so managed 3 weeks of shopping. This was so timely as you will know with the redundancy and then the illness. So from the money saving side - we have continued to eat well and put away bargains and still give prezzies to relatives for birthdays and xmas that I otherwise couldn't do. And (thank you Lutzil and Lawrie28 2 bikes for the kiddies at £26 - the best!).

Friendship wise - like logie - this has been my saviour and kept me in touch during less than pleasant times, and shared the good times too. I have a number of lovely virtual friends and a couple of you I have met too - hello Lutzil and Choirchick  I love the on-going jokes, the support (thank you the elite 5:2's as well and QoC), The night shift :happylove great company when the meds kept me awake. Yes you can come on anytime and there is usually someone here. :) I love how we all care for our organic family and go to great lengths to check peeps are ok ( :A mad...).

So a thank you to each and every one of you (and the lurkers ).
    Thanks
This was such a lovely post:)

I need a bit of advice from all you Elite cooks, pretty please. I have been desperate to try out the gammon cooked in coke and today is the day. I've got everything set now and bubbling away but have just realised that the recopies say unsmoked joint, whilst I picked up the smoked joints.

Is it going to make any difference? should I just give up now?

Opinions, thoughts, comments or general amusement at my expense all welcome :D

The only difference it will make is that it will taste smoked

Leave it to cool in the coke and the smoked flavour will not be as strong as if you remove it straight away

It was a home delivery, I will be taking it back to the store next time I visit.
My total spend was £14.74 because of the subsituite.

Edited was on the fone at the time of typing

Thanks for this - do you have the 3 month pass?

I cant see which page the 'allow any substitutes button" is ???

So your APG appears in your account in about a weeks time but gradually a few bits at a time - trying to dredge up what I remember people saying beforehand.

I have just been having a play on their website, nice Quidco offer of £10 for first shop if you spend over £50 which would be fine with the brush.

but I am wondering if its better to go for the Topcash offer of 5.05 cashback if spend more than £25 incase you get a brush substitute.

Apologies for all of the questions, I have no MOCs to play with so I am looking for a new game to play :)

Also please can I ask of people with the 3 month Asda delivery pass are they linked to one person and one household?

I am wondering about getting a pass but I think my eldest would have more use out of it so I was trying to work out if its possible to share a pass ;)

 while catching up with a panade I did not realise it had turned from a nice day to trenching down, and i had 2 machine loads of washing on the line now soaking wet...

What does this thread means to me? So much.

Including how mind expanding and educational it is.

Cuppa tea rhosyn? Only ever heard it - I never knew how to spell panade before.

    Thankyou everyone.
